Cochin International airport is located in the Kochi city of Kerala state. This airport is developed under the public private partnership which has become the busiest and largest airport of Kerala.
It includes three passenger terminals and a cargo terminal and is powered with the solar plant. Due to which it would have been selected for the champion of the Earth Award. Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 used to serve for domestic airlines while the Terminal 3 built in traditional Kerala Architecture serves international airlines.
The cargo terminal occupies around 20 hectares with total floor space of 11,000 square meters.
